Terms & Conditions

THT Bookkeeping Solutions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of bookkeeping and related services. By THT Bookkeeping Solutions ("we","us",or "our") to the client ("you," "your"). By engagine our Services, you agree to these Terms.

Scope of Services

We provide bookkeeping services including, but not limited to:

  • Recording financial transactions

  • Reconciliation of bank, credit card, and other accounts

  • Accounts payable and receivable tracking

  • Payroll preparation (if appplicable)

  • Financial reporting

  • General bookkeeping support 

Any services not listed above must be agreed upon in writing.

Client Responsibilites 

You agree to: 

  • Provide complete, accurate, and timely financial information

  • Supply necessary documents by agreed deadlines

  • Inform us of any errors, discrepancies, or changes in you business that may affect bookkeeping

  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements

We ar not responsible for delays or inaccuracies caused by incomplete of late information.

Fees & Payment Terms

  • Fees are billed on a Monthly basis.

  • Payment is due within 5-10 business days of the invoice date.

  • Late payments may incur interest or service suspesion.

  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may be billed separately.

Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of your financial information.

We will not share, sell, or disclose your data unless:

  • Required by law

  • You provide written consent

  • Necessary to perform core Services (e.g.,sharing with tax professionals you authorize)

We use secure systems to protect your data.

Data Ownership

All financial records and supporting documents you provide remain your property.

Reports, workpapers, and files we create remain our property but will be made available to you upon request, provided your account is in good standing.

Accuracy & Liability

We will perform Services with reasonable care and skill, but your are responsible for reviewing all reports and fillings.

We are not liable for:

  • Errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information you provided

  • Legal, tax, or financial penalties related to late or missing documents not under our control

  • Business decisions made based on our reports.

Termination

Either party may terminate Services with 10 buisness days written notice.

Upon termination:

  • All outstanding fee are immediately due 

  • Completed work to the termination date will be delivered

  • We may charge for time required to prepare file transfers to another provider

Record Retention

We retain your digital bookkeeping records for 3 years.

You are responsible for maintaining original documents

(receipts, incoices, contracts, etc.).

Use of Third-Party Software

We may use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or others.

You agree to comply with the software's terms of service. We are not responsible for outages or issues related to third-party platforms.

Non-Solicitation

You agree not to solicit or hire our staff or contractors for separate engagement for a period of 2 years after termaination of Services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and the United States. 

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alabama.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any changes will be provided in writing, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance.
